Newport_4x.png

Newport is a coastal town on Aquidneck Island in the state of Rhode Island. This town is well-known for the vacation homes commissioned for wealthy American families during the Gilded Age, which are the city's crown jewels. Grand estates designed by notable architects Richard Morris Hunt, Stanford White, Peabody and Stearns, and many more crowd the coastline. Visitors in Newport can tour many of the city's most famous mansions, as well as partake in plenty of outdoor activities, visit well-preserved buildings from the Colonial era, and relax along the waterside while enjoying traditional New England cuisine.
